First Christmas Cookie And Ornament

Got my first snowman cookie
at Starbucks.  I love these!

It was a foggy morning,

and then it rained.

This tree was in the parking lot
of Old Navy.
It was striking with its orange leaves.
I started my Christmas shopping.
I may or may not have bought
something for Jess.  ; )

I bought my first ornament
for the season.
Charlie Brown reminds me of my
brother, John.
He loves the Christmas movie.

Have a very nice weekend.

Oh Sheri, the Charlie Brown ornament is darling! My son-in-law has everything imaginable pertaining to Peanuts and he would love this one. Very nice photos of the foggy morning and the rain drops on the roses. That cookie is adorable. It won't be long before you can make them with your new granddaughter! ♥

That cookie looks so delish I'd jump through the screen and eat it now if I could! I love it! And your ornament -- always loved Charlie Brown. Looks beautiful in your world -- apart from the rain, which they tell us we will have tomorrow. I should set up my lights today before it gets too cold!

Your rose picture is wonderful. How fun to be Christmas shopping. I think I have two more small gifts to buy to be finished. Then the baking and playing can commence. I do love a chai at Starbucks and the cookie is definitely a temptation.

We too my friend, are having foggy mornings. We did have some snow a few days back, but we are trending toward warmer winters and shorter ones too. I adore the fog.....enjoy every celebration you hold dear, and now you have the little one to include in on the festivities!

We have a few colorful trees that are trying to hold on but with the winds and storms today I don't think they will hold out much longer. I love knowing that a part of Calif. gets to enjoy the fall season. I mess with my son all the time telling him they have one season in San Diego!!! haha....Beautiful pic of the tree. YOu have a grandbaby to buy ornaments for now. When my kids were young then on to my grandkids, I either made or bought them a new one every yr. My oldest grandson is 17 and I still get him one.....

The coffee and cookie look delicious! I love your photos. We have rain coming into our area tonight, followed by colder temps. That is such a darling CB ornament. I appreciate your friendship thru blogging and wish you a delightful Thanksgiving week.

Wonderful rain photos, Sheri! There's still so much light where you live, and colours, all those beautiful flowers and colourful leaves and green grass (in this post and in the previous ones, all so pretty).
The black-and-white photos of your family are beautiful, heart-warming... and so elegant.
Christmas is indeed coming, but first: Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! xx

Cute cookie - but it's not even Thanksgiving yet!
However, I'm already thinking about which cookies I might bake this year. Years a go I got a recipe from my mother-in-law that I make every year, those cookies are so super yummy.
The ornament of Charlie Brown is cute. I love the Peanuts - not wonder, after all I'm living in Snoopyville (aka Santa Rosa) and it's sad that Charles Schulz's home burnt down in the recent fires here.

Oh Wow, that orange tree! Magical! What a cute cookie Sheri, very seasonal. We have had showers for a few days and late Saturday night had the heavy fog just like yours. Twins :) I love your photos of it - that is very difficult I find, but I always try.

Such pretty scenes, Sheri, and Charlie Brown is a favorite of mine, too. It reminds me of when my children were young - we never missed the Christmas special. Hopefully, now we can watch it with our grandchildren! Sending hugs and Happy Thanksgiving, my dear. xo Karen
